梁奕焚 Liang Yi Fen
梁奕焚1937年出生於彰化芬園，台北師範藝術科畢業，與現代畫大師李仲生習畫，並於
1987年負笈紐約蘇活區設立工作室。爾後自1995至1999年，連續數年在紐約蘇活區畫廊
舉辦個展，且廣受好評。在美國旅居十餘年後返台，在美期間受到蓬勃發展的現代藝術衝
擊，完成許多重要作品。這是少數台灣藝術家在國際上可享有的成就，亦是台灣藝術界中
的驕傲。
創造原始之美的二度空間魔法師
梁奕焚是一位享譽國際的藝術家，他的造形簡約線條俐落，跳脫了人體的自然觀看距離，
從「非自然」的視角觀察和描繪，並在二度空間充分地表現人體的柔美造型，呈現極簡又
原始的美感張力。他的藝術創作既有世界性，又富有民族性格，畫風質樸純真，且具有強烈
獨特的風格。
他將台灣鄉土的民俗色彩及玄學哲學內涵，成功地轉化成具有現代美感的最極限藝術。以
黑底白線勾勒莊嚴恬靜的畫面，征服了無數外國人及本國藝術愛好者的心。他使用強烈的
民俗色彩如黑、白、紅、黃、金等，以柔美而簡約的線條形式呈現，畫中的人物及場景安靜
和諧的構成。給人一種極度純淨、莊嚴的感受。
著名藝評家瑪格麗特.穆斯(Margaret Moose)曾說：「透過作品，梁氏把自己的記憶復甦了，
創造出一種獨有的藝術形式，既非東方亦非西方，既不現代也不傳統，而是超越時空，無始
無終卓越的人間性。」另一位藝評家羅傑.費拉喬(Roger Vilarchao)也曾稱讚：「在他的畫
裡你看不到『碰巧』或『機會』這種字眼。不同階段、不同樣貌的作品卻在想法觀念上呈現
出相當完整的連貫性。」
